FoodWave - sustainable food
FoodWave is a European project that aims to increase the awareness and knowledge of young European citizens (15-35 years old) on issues related to sustainable food and climate change, and to encourage them to take action for the cause. Young people are becoming increasingly aware of the effects of global warming and want to do their part. One way to contribute to this is to adapt your diet by making sustainable choices such as consuming less meat, choosing organic options and supporting local businesses. In this walking tour you will discover several Brussels-based organizations that have a focus on sustainable nutrition. This project is supported by the municipality of Molenbeek and the Alderman for the Environment and Sustainable Development, Abdellah Achaoui, as well as the College of Aldermen.
